Nisa is the younger daughter of Adi Godrej the Chairman of Godrej Group and the great-granddaughter of co-founder Pirojsha Godrej who is the one who founded the Group with his brother in 1897.

Nisaba has a BS degree from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She is passionate about girl's education, the human mind, design, trekking and equestrian sports. She lives in Mumbai with her husband Kalpesh Mehta and son Zoran Mehta.
